Play Kitchen

My favorite re-purposing project, a Wooden Play Kitchen for the kids.
A few years ago, Bri gave me 2 small white cabinets to use for storage.
I loved them, they were cute, I stored stuff in them...
But I kept thinking, I could make a cool Kitchen with these 2 cabinets!
So I did.
Then I painted it hot pink.
I wish I had a before and after picture, but I don't.
The "fridge" is one cabinet and the only thing I did to it was I sawed the legs off, there are 2 shelves inside.
The other cabinet is laying on its side and I sawed the legs off of it, took the 2 glass doors off.  Added a shelf in each of the 3 sections.  Then I made a door for the oven.
I screwed everything to a heavy slab of wood and put wheels on the bottom.
Put a big hold in it for a sink (stainless steel bowl), painted 2 wooden soccer balls black for the burners.  Added some small knobs for the oven dials and the sink, used a wooden J upside down for the faucet painted all of that silver, and there ya go!
It was fun to make and the kids have been playing with it for 2 years now and it's as good as new!

I love wooden toys!
I love building things with my hands and using power tools
