Busy Week and weekend

I've been sooo busy lately.  If it weren't for my little black pocket calendar that I bought for this year, I'd be lost.  I know that I would have missed a dozen events or more.  (Best under $5 purchase ever).  As you know from my long winded loopy rant the other night, I've been busy with school stuff.

Also dentist visits.  KennaKat got a teeny tiny cavity filled and she was the best.patient.ever.  No whining, no crying, no screaming.  Just complete well behaved good sportiness.
My cute patient

Her prize for being a great patient

Tricia invited us and Nani over for a swim with her and page2.  It was so nice having the pool to ourselves.
Then she treated us to lunch, how fantastic!
Page2 jumping in

By the end of our swimming KennaKat was jumping in without making me catch her.
KennaKat has been spending lots of time putting together puzzles lately.
Nani brought back a large floor puzzle for Ethylwolfe when she went to the beach a few months ago and KennaKat can put it together in under 5 minutes now.
This Madeline puzzle is just a small one that we just got from Ollies.
I gave her my camera and now we have 10 pictures of this puzzle :)

This weekend was our convention.  There was such a huge turnout.
Sunday the attendance was over 10,000!
49 people were baptised this weekend, including at least 4 from our congregation and an old friend that I grew up with, who has worked hard to make the truth her own.

We're so proud of you April!!!

A blury picture of me and my girl on Saturday

Ethylwolfe and his NonE (his spelling)

I finally hand delivered Tricia's prize!
E's teacher read the class a book "It's OK to be different" then had the kids paint themselves and say it's ok to be {something about themselves}.
Here is Ethylwolfe's...
Ethylwolfe said "It's ok to be a weirdo" and he told his teacher... "because sometimes I'm weird")
I love it!
Kris's sister is getting married in less than 2 weeks!
Saturday night, Kris threw her a surprise lingerie shower, and she was actually surprised!
Woohoo!  Everyone had a great time and I couldn't be happier for this happy couple.

I didn't really remember to take pictures for Sunday.
Here are the kids walking around and touching what they aren't supposed to...

And we bumped into KFC and her parents.
B's face cracks me up.  And KFC was upset because a boy hit her.
Not only was she hit, but that terrible crime was committed by a boy...she doesn't like boys :)

K&P joined us at the convention today, along with K's very sweet study.  I'm annoyed that I always forget to take pictures, so I have none to show of their cool African inspired dresses :(
We enjoyed Red Robin for dinner, and now we are home, relaxing from a very busy week and weekend.

Convention Day 3

So we've made it to Sunday.
It was amazing.
All 3 days, my ears were glued to what the speaker was saying and what was going on.  I'm so thankful that my kids were well behaved and that the only time I had to get up with them was for bathroom breaks.  For that, I am very very  thankful!
It was a real spiritual FEAST!
Brother Morris gave excellent talks all 3 days as did all of the other brothers and sisters who worked so hard for the benefit of us, the audience, so much time, preparation, hard work and love.
And as excited as I was that I got so much knowledge,
I was sad that it was over.
Back to the world, the regular daily routine, boo, I can't wait till the New System!

I can't wait until all of you have had your convention so that I don't have to keep my mouth shut any longer and we can discuss all the points that we loved, and the dramas, wow, the dramas, I boohoo'ed a LOT on Saturdays, I guess because it hit so close to home, being a parent, but it was touching.  The kids called me out afterwards, when it was silent "Mommy, why are you crying?"  Nice and loud for all to hear.  I said it was because I really really liked it.  They were a bit confused, but they'll get it one day.  That you can cry when you're happy.  But that day is a long way off, and I know I'll get called out a LOT before then.  Ah well!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Sunday evening, we chilled at Bri's house, grilled out, and relaxed.

Monday, we went to the Lake, it was lovely, the water was perfect, there was tons of good company.  B and I tubed on the back of the boat, ouch, I'm still sore.  I guess it's official, I am O-L-D!  To come to that realization at the age of 26 is a bit humbling, but don't worry about me, I'm humbled every day I look at my 2 beautiful children and see them grow right before my eyes.

The only picture taken on Monday was on the car ride home.

My 3 favorite people, all squished together, and very tired
Stop pretending that you weren't sleeping you fake awaker you.

Convention Day 2

The second day of the convention,
Katie's Bible Student Nichole was Baptised!!

And KennaKat and Deli were matching.

I thought those were my only pictures taken of the day, but I found more....:)

For dinner we went to a Japanese Steak House, always a good show!

Convention Day 1

I decided to split up the convention between 3 posts to highlight each day.

{Enjoy day numero uno!}

The whole coliseum was abuzz with excitement about the spiritual food that we would be receiving.

The kids were well behaved.

I was able to take lots of notes.

I feasted on Spiritual Food by day and Mexican by night.

The first day was wonderful!

Convention

Home from a great weekend of Spiritual Food!!!
We went to Roanoke to enjoy the convention.
And enjoy it we did.
Brother Morris from the GB gave wonderful, excellent talks.
We had four other visiting brothers!
The dramas were AMAZING.
{I cried}
I come home with many goals that I already had, now just bursting out of me to want to fulfill.
The end is so near, and I am so eager.
Eager to do more, to simplify, to be no part of this world.
I'm tired of excuses.
Most of the family was there
that made it extra special to enjoy a spiritual feast with loved ones.
{Pictures to come when I am not so tired}
Katie's Bible student got BAPTISED!!
We are so happy for them!
Don't worry, to those of you who have not had it, I will not spoil it for you, but... wow!

My goal for a long time has been to move and work in seldom worked territory.
What's your goal?
